A woman from Aylesbury who was caught drinking alcohol in public has been ordered to pay up more than £80.

Sasha Martin, 29, of Wingate Walk in Aylesbury, has been fined £50 and ordered to pay £34 in costs after she breached a court order by drinking outside.

On January 26, Martin was caught in Milton Keynes while drunk and with an open container of alcohol.

The defendant was banned from drinking alcohol in public places by a community protection notice which she had been issued with due to past anti-social behaviour.

At Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on January 27, Martin pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to comply with a community protection notice.

Following her guilty plea, the justices fined her £50 and ordered her to pay an additional £34 in court costs.
