Rebecca Housden was clear about which of the famous MONOPOLY colours the Wycombe spots should occupy:
“Hughenden Manor should be a dark blue spot, maybe alongside West Wycombe Park, depending on how far out the boundaries are being set.
“The Red Lion should be a spot on the board as well.
Another Bucks Free Press reader Matt Burrows said the well-known entertainment retailer, HMV, should be included:
“HMV because we are lucky to have this store in our town when many others closed during their turbulent time - but because of massive local support from the town our store stayed open.Â
“They moved to a part of Eden or Octagon that has previously been an Our Price Records, Virgin and Zavvi store - so that building is iconic for music and films.Â
“No better way to recognise this than giving them a space on our MONOPOLY board.”

Afolabi Omotola, Custom Games Executive from Winning Moves UK said at the launch last Monday the company is looking to include charities and businesses on the board too.
He said: “We’re currently in the process of having meetings with some of the local businesses to help us piece this together as well as some of the suggestions of what they community feel would be a good fit for the board.”
If you want to suggest a landmark on the upcoming Wycombe MONOPOLY edition, nominations can be made for two weeks until at 23.59pm on February 28 by email to: wycombe@winningmoves.co.uk or via the official High Wycombe MONOPOLY Facebook page.
