A 14-year-old girl has gone missing in the county, prompting police to appeal for help finding her.

Sophia Capone was last seen in Oldbrook, Milton Keynes, at around 10.45pm on Wednesday night.

The teenager is about 4ft 9ins tall and is thought to be wearing a great puffa-style jacket and grey air force trainers.

Sophia is known to spend time in the Bedford area.

Sergeant Roy Taylor, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Sophia and are appealing for the help of the public in finding her.

“I would urge anyone who may have seen Sophia, or anyone who thinks they know where she is to please get in touch by calling 101 quoting reference 43220072969.”
