A teenage killer hanged himself one year into serving his life sentence, a coroner has ruled.
Lenny Crawt, aged 19, died in HMP Aylesbury, a young offenders prison, on May 16, 2020.
A jury inquest held into Crawt’s death at Beaconsfield Coroners’ Court from January 17 to January 21 found that the teenager killed himself in his prison cell some time between 3am and 5.30am.
The teenager was confirmed deceased by paramedics on the scene at around 7am.

Crawt, who was from West Molesey in Surrey, was 16 years old when he murdered fisherman Scott Wilkinson, beating him to death with a plank of wood.
Crawt, along with his brother Shane Crawt and cousin Charlie Smith, were all jailed in March 2019.
The 19-year-old was just one year into serving his life sentence when he took his own life.

The offender had been due to move prisons, from HMP Aylesbury to HMP High Down in Sutton, Surrey, and had expressed unhappiness about the move, threatening to self-harm if he was forced to change institutions.
The inquest, which was presided over by assistant coroner for Buckinghamshire, Ian Wade, found that Crawt hanged himself in his cell.
