Courageous students tried to save a boy after he was stabbed near Milton Keynes College, police have said.
Brave healthcare students rushed to the 16 year old's aid after he was fatally attacked near Palace Square and Rainbow Drive.

After being stabbed, he then moved towards the Chaffron Way campus of Milton Keynes College and collapsed outside.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Healthcare students and a member of staff from the college who were in a class made their way outside and provided immediate first aid, until emergency services arrived.
"These students are now receiving specialist support from the college."

The victim is yet to be formally identified. Police said his family are being supported by Thames Valley Police.
An 18-year-old man from Milton Keynes was arrested on suspicion of murder and he is still in police custody.
