Police issued a closure notice for the property on January 6 under section 80 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

According to the act, a court can issue a closure order if a person there has engaged, or is likely to engage in disorderly, offensive or criminal behaviour.

The order can also be issued if the premises are used for nuisance to the public, or if disorder nearby is associated with the premises.
