There have been reports of alleged homophobic abuse during Wycombe Wanderers' game against MK Dons at Adams Park this afternoon.
Thames Valley Police took to social media to say "homophobic abuse will not be tolerated" and anyone identified "may face arrest and a criminal record".
The post goes on to say "shame on the small minority of MK Don fans that think this behaviour is acceptable."

The game was also paused in the 27th minute after Adebayo Akinfenwa approached the away fans after Gareth Ainsworth asked them to stop singing a derogatory chants towards the striker.
27 - Very proud of @daRealAkinfenwa 💙 MK Dons’ fans have sung a certain song in his direction on several occasions. After the fans ignored Ainsworth’s pleas, Bayo has now approached the fans and has asked them to stop. The game has been paused. #Chairboys #MKDons
