Weekly round-up of hearings at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court:

January 19:

  • Mohammed Alam, 42, of Ward Street, Weston Turville. Handling, controlling, or transferring controlled waste without taking reasonable measures. On or before May 15, 2021, in Turville, produced or disposed of controlled waste and failed to take all reasonable measures to prevent a contravention. Fined £300. Costs £334.
  • Oliver Francis, 19, of Castle Street, High Wycombe. Failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on July 7, 2021, by failing to attend planned office visits on August 25, 2021 and August 18, 2021. Fined £40. Costs £60.
  • Justin Parker, 30, of Hillway, Amersham. Causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. Between July 26, 2021 and September 3, 2021, in Amersham, caused unnecessary suffering to a black cat named Mama by failing to provide veterinary treatment in respect of its broken leg. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Costs £278. Disqualified from owning or keeping cats for three years.
  • Sharon Parker, 54, of Hillway, Amersham. Causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. Between July 26, 2021 and September 3, 2021, in Amersham, caused unnecessary suffering to a black cat named Mama by failing to provide veterinary treatment in respect of its broken leg. Committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Costs £278. Disqualified from owning or keeping cats for three years.

  • Davood Zareiyan, 64, of Shelburne Road, High Wycombe. Exceeding the 30mph speed limit in Cressex Road, High Wycombe, on August 28, 2020. Speed recorded was 35mph. Discharged absolutely.
  • Rishika Arora, 33, of Windsor Road, Gerrards Cross. Failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence between March 30, 2021 and April 27, 2021. Fined £660. Costs £366. Driving record endorsed with six points.
  • Kathleen Stokes, 41, of Lay Road, Aylesbury. Failing to comply with self-isolation requirements following a positive coronavirus test. On January 15, 2021, in Aylesbury, was located away from their home address after they had tested positive for coronavirus and required to self-isolate. Fined £1,000. Costs £450.

January 21:

  • Samantha O’Grady, 47, of Stoke Poges Lane, Slough. Theft from a shop. On December 12, 2021, in Bracknell, stole jeans and meat products to the value of £135.40 from Marks and Spencer. Committed to prison for 16 weeks.
  • George Case, 60, of North End, Turville Heath. Using a motor vehicle without third party insurance in High Street, Marlow, on March 31, 2021. Fined £215. Costs £204. Driving record endorsed with six points.
