“Threatening notes” left on cars in a residential area has prompted a call for those affected to report it to the authorities.
A series of unsettling letters left on seemingly “legally parked” cars in Gerrards Cross has sparked concerns among locals.
The notes, later circulated on social media, appear to have targeted people in Fulmer Drive and Dukes Wood Drive, telling them parking in the street is “not accepted” and that they should use their own driveway.

“Park your car in your drive as it is an obstruction and not accepted in Fulmer Drive or Dukes Wood,” the typed notes read in full caps. Adding: “Last warning”, written by hand.
One local claimed to be “extremely upset” by the discovery because they temporarily cannot park at home – adding they had been “threatened” in a similar way in three different roads in the area.

Others on social media reported similar notes left on their own vehicles in the past, with one especially hostile note reading: “What a stupid place to park, you daft c**t.”
When asked for comment, Cllr Thomas Broom said he is aware of the notes being left on people’s vehicles, but that no one had reached out to him directly.
He urged locals to contact him with their concerns and to report anything criminal to the police.
Cllr Broom: “If someone is leaving threatening notes, it is a police matter. If people are concerned, they can reach out to me directly.
“Gerrards Cross is a wonderful ward but people don’t necessarily reach out straightaway, so I would be very keen for them to do that.
“If there are multiple people affected by this, I would encourage them to report any criminality to the police.”
