Wycombe defender Chris Forino has been named at the club’s Player of the Month for December.
The 21-year-old, who joined last April, played in two of Wanderers’ three games in the final month of 2021, which was interrupted due to several Covid-19 postponements.

Regardless, Forino started and played the whole 90 minutes in the 2-1 win over Burton Albion on December 7 where he was named as the man of the match, and despite falling to a 1-0 away defeat at Ipswich Town, the young centre back also had a positive performance.

Following his rise into the first team, he has started the Chairboys’ last three league games and helped his side keep a clean sheet against Charlton on New Year’s Day in a 1-0 win.
