Wycombe Wanderers bossed Gareth Ainsworth will miss this evening’s match against Ipswich Town after testing positive for Covid-19.
The Chairboys confirmed the news around an hour-and-a-half before their match against the fixture against the Suffolk side kicked off.
This means that assistant manager Richard Dobson, and player/coach, Matt Bloomfield, who started his career at Portman Road, will be in the dugout for tonight's game [December 29].

It is not known if Ainsworth will be back on the touchline for Wycombe's next fixture, which is an away trip to Charlton Athletic on New Year's Day.
Many matches across all four divisions have been called off in recent weeks due to a large number of Covid cases being reported.
This includes Wanderers' away trip to Bolton on December 18 and the Boxing Day clash against Cambridge United.
Ainsworth said: "I'm gutted to be missing the game, but fortunately I'm double-jabbed and had my booster and am not feeling any symptoms.
"I've got full faith in Dobbo and Blooms who'll be leading the team, and I'll be watching from home and staying in close contact with them throughout."
