Police have been on patrol near High Wycombe town centre after a burglary was reported.
Officers were doing the rounds in Suffield Road and nearby residential streets near the Eden Centre and Wycombe Hospital yesterday (Thursday) evening.
According to officers, a burglary took place in Suffield Place not long ago.
In the past days and weeks Wycombe has experienced a string of burgalries and attempted burglaries.
Police have made multiple appeals for the public's help in their investigations after attempted burglaries in Priory Avenue, Kennedy Avenue, and Treadaway Hill in Flackwell Heath.

At Christmas time there is an increased risk of burglary, with shorter daylight hours and many residents leaving their homes to spend time with their families elsewhere.
The TVP neighbourhood policing team has warned that the burglary risk in the town has gone from "risk to reality" and advised extra measures should be taken to protect property from thieves.
The Wycombe District Neighbourhood Watch Association said: "We must now advise you that this risk has become a reality and an increased number of burglaries have taken place recently in the Wycombe district.
"We encourage you to take all possible precautions against these crimes and especially so if you are going to be out or away.
"Do whatever you can to make your house look occupied by leaving lights on with time switches and by having a neighbour’s car parked on your drive.
"If you have an alarm, do switch it on when you are out of the house, even if that should be for a brief period."
If you think you saw something suspicious, call police on 101. Always call 999 in an emergency.
