An investigation into the death of a young father is still ongoing two years after his remains were found in a Bucks woodland beside the M40.
The body of Mohammed Shah Subhani was discovered in a wooded area in Hedgerley in December 2019, but the Metropolitan Police seem no closer to finding his killer or killers.
Several people have been arrested in connection with the murder investigation, but no one has been charged with killing the 27-year-old father, who was from Hounslow in west London.
At a pre-inquest review into Mr Subhani’s death, senior coroner for Buckinghamshire, Crispin Butler, provided the latest update on the murder investigation.
Speaking at Beaconsfield Coroners’ Court on Thursday, Mr Butler said: “The latest position in relation to an update from the Metropolitan Police is I have not been notified of any charges nor any particular progress since the last pre-inquest review.
“I am not aware of any charges in relation to Shah’s death and I have not had any request from the prosecutors to suspend my investigation or inquest.”

Mr Butler ended the brief hearing by stating that a further pre-inquest review will be held on April 12, 2022.
