Three men followed a man from Beaconsfield Railway Station before attacking him on a side road late at night.
After leaving the station, the 54-year-old man was followed to Grove Road, roughly a 10 minute walk away from the train station.
He was repeatedly kicked and punched suffering injuries to his face.

Police described the attackers as white men with short dark hair who were wearing dark clothing.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) is now appealing for witnesses to the attack that happened around 11pm on November 13.
A TVP spokesman said: "Anyone who witnessed this incident or has information that could assist the investigation should contact the police online via the website or by calling 101 quoting reference: 43210514318.
