A thug who stamped on a woman’s head while she was holding a baby has been thrown in jail.
Luke Ward, aged 25, has been sentenced to 16 weeks in prison after he assaulted his victim in Milton Keynes on August 13.
At Buckinghamshire Magistrates’ Court on August 16, the court heard how Ward, of Towcester Bypass, Towcester, was intoxicated when he attacked his victim.

The magistrates were told how the woman was holding a baby when he assaulted her, and he proceeded to stamp on her head while she was on the ground.
At court, Ward pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating.
The thug also admitted to two counts of common assault of an emergency worker on the same date. Ward spat at police officers and told them that he had COVID-19 that day.

Ward also pleaded guilty to charges of criminal damage and attempted criminal damage after he destroyed his victim’s front door.
After consideration, the magistrates decided to give Ward a 16-week prison sentence for his crimes. He was also given a restraining order against her, and was ordered to pay £150 in compensation.
