Burger lovers can expect a new fast-food chain to open next year.
Wimpy is expected to launch a new restaurant at Hale Leys shopping centre in Aylesbury, in early 2022.
The news was announced on October 12 via Hale Leys’ Instagram account, according to local reports.

“We are delighted to announce that we’re bringing Wimpy back to Aylesbury, and we can’t wait to welcome customers through the doors for the first time,” a Wimpy UK spokesman told local news.
Adding: “We know there is a lot of love for Wimpy in the town and we are all very much looking forward to the big event.”
But one local was not entirely sold on the idea.
“If they built this there it would be rammed,” they said. “It’s not the biggest shopping centre.
“It’s just another fast-food chain – there’s a KFC, a McDonald’s, and a Greggs all nearby.”
They added: “But it could help the independents in the space get a few more customers.”
