Thames Valley Police are continuing to investigate the death of Nessar Khann, the 20-year-old named locally as the man who died in a crash on London Road in High Wycombe.

An investigation was launched after the fatal crash on September 6 at 8:35pm in which Nessar was driving a Lexmoto Enigma moped on his journey home after working a shift at KFC.

He fatally collided with a Suzuki Jimny at the junction with Hammersley Lane causing a large police presence to shut a long stretch of the A40, London Road for a number of hours.

This happened just over a week after police had been monitoring speeding on London Road as residents were frustrated with drivers exceeding the limits.

The police have confirmed there are "no significant updates" but their investigations are continuing.

His colleagues at KFC told the Bucks Free Press Nessar was riding his moped back home from his shift with a meal for his mother when the tragedy happened.

Flowers and tributes were left at the scene of the crash and remain there in his memory.

Tributes have also continued to be left in our book of condolences.

Harry Osment said: "Nessar was a true king always had a smile on his face never angry, never sad.

"He was always happy honestly we went through both primary and secondary school together and I meet a true man and friend.

"Thoughts and prayers go to his family."

Danny Sibley said: "As someone who worked with him, talked with him and was a friend of his, it’s sad to lose someone so caring, polite, funny and an all round nice person."
