More than £22,000 has been raised for the family of a popular Wycombe Wanderers fan who suddenly died at the start of the month.
Naz Bajwa, who was regular at Adams Park, passed away on October 3 when watching his sons play football, a day after the Chairboys had defeated Morecambe 4-3 in an incredible game in South Bucks.
Following his death, a Just Giving page was launched to help the Bajwa family, with a target of £5,000 being set.
After full-time today, Gareth Ainsworth handed Naz Bajwa’s scarf back to wife Donna and their children, and invited them to the players’ lounge after the game.

However, thanks to the generosity of the Wycombe family and the wider community, £22,355 has been donated collectively in just over a week.
The grand total is expected to increase as the week goes on.
An extract from the page reads: “Naz would hate this kind of fuss but we are looking to help support his family at this extremely difficult time and we just want to try and make things a tiny bit easier for them as a family so they can concentrate on helping each other come to terms with their tragic loss.
“Naz really was one of a kind and we will all miss him dearly.
"If you can spare a small contribution we would be beyond grateful.”
A wreath in honour of Naz Bajwa, a devoted husband, father and #Chairboys season ticket holder, has been displayed beside the home dugout, with his favourite scarf.

And after Wycombe’s 2-0 win over Gillingham on October 9, in which the Wanderers fan was remembered with a minutes applause at half-time, manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “My thoughts are win, lose or draw, it’s insignificant compared to what that family is going through.
“I was so pleased to be able to go up to them [Naz' family] and give them a scarf that was close to him.
We’re helping to raise money for the Bajwa family, who lost Naz this week. We've known him and his son for about 5 years now, and our thoughts go out to the whole family.
