Firefighters have battled through the night as a huge fire ripped through a historic village hotel and wedding venue.
New photos show how the blaze that started last night has completely destroyed the roof of the Kings Hotel in Stokenchurch, a 16th century former coaching inn.
Fire crews battled throughout the night, with local business Coffee on the Green opening their doors after hours to help provide more than 300 coffees and to allow the emergency services personnel to use their bathroom.
Stokenchurch Parish Council has praised the village community for rallying together in the wake of the devastating blaze.
Cllr Matthew Jennings said: "An equally big thank you goes to the thoughtful local people who walked in and have so far given nearly £30 in donations to the shop so they aren't out of pocket.
"They are now about to start offering them breakfast."
At this stage, it is not clear how or where the fire started.
Photos taken at 12.30am on Saturday (October 9) show how the entire roof of the historic hotel and wedding venue has been destroyed, with flames and smoke billowing high into the air above.
