One of the drivers involved in the crash was more than double the drink drive limit, giving a breath test reading of 81 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The offending driver was arrested on the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.
In a post on social media, the Thames Valley Police roads policing unit warned of the risks of drink driving.
It said: “Luckily there were no injuries, but the dangers of drinking and driving cannot be underestimated.”
