Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth praised the Morecambe fans that made the trip down to Adams Park on Saturday.
Despite taking a 2-0 lead, the Shrimps lost 4-3 with Curtis Thompson bagging an injury-time winner to keep Wanderers in the play-off places.
The round trip of 456 miles will be a bitter one to take for the travelling Shrimp army, but the boss was complimentary of their support.

“They sang, they got behind the team and I made a special point in going over to see them afterwards because it is a long way to come and I think they will be OK in League, but I am pleased the day belonged to us."
