A FORMER Bucks police constable is set to go under the microscope after he was accused of acting inappropriately towards two women.

PC Mark Gibson, formerly based in Milton Keyes, will face a public misconduct hearing next week following allegations against him.

The constable is alleged to have acted inappropriately towards two women during a visit to an address.

He is also accused of seizing and disposing of an amount of cannabis without making a formal record of the seizure.

Following these allegations, PC Gibson was accused of gross misconduct.

He will go before a misconduct panel on Wednesday, October 13 and Thursday, October 14 at Thames Valley Police’s headquarters in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.

Should the panel find his behaviour amounted to gross misconduct, grounds for dismissal would have been justified had he still been serving as a police employee.

Typically, current and former police staff who are found guilty of gross misconduct are placed on the College of Policing barred list and banned from serving as a police officer again.

However, it is not clear if PC Gibson is subject to the same potential consequences.
