The Oarsman on Spittal Street, Marlow will re-open its doors on September 30.
Under the new ownership of Truffle Hunting duo Nigel Sutcliffe and James Mclean, The Oarsman has undergone refurbishments including an open kitchen.
Nigel has recently worked with Heston Blumenthal on the Fat Duck Group and was previously managing director of The Crazy Bear Group whilst James started his career winning Young Chef of the Year and has held positions at some of the country’s most prestigious restaurants.
The Bistro will house up to 64 people for lunch and dinner and a spacious bar area will welcome guests for drinks.
For those who might like to be outside, there is a covered outside space that has a relaxed seating area suitable for all weathers with blankets for the cooler autumn evenings.
The gastropub will open all day, every day and lunch will be served from 12noon until 14.30 and dinner starting at 17.00.
The menu will have bistro-style, seasonal dishes created by Head Chef Scott Smith and Sous Chef Peter Webster.
Both chefs have won acclaimed praise during their careers with Scott winning a Michelin Bib Gourmand in his first year as head chef at the Sugarboat in Helensburgh, Scotland.
Peter worked alongside the Galvin Brothers and then time in France allowed him to learn the best modern style of French cooking.
Co-owner, Nigel said: "James and I have some exciting plans for guests and hope that we can bring something to Marlow that compliments the existing offering.
"As we said before, we will be relying on our local audience and hope that we are bringing something a little different to the town and the next few months will be important to us as we welcome visitors to come and try us."
