A thug who sliced a man’s throat when he attacked him with a pint glass in a busy Aylesbury pub has admitted his guilt.
Brandon Broomhead-Fox, 24, of no fixed abode, attacked a man in his twenties with an empty pint glass at the Feathers pub in Kingsbury.
At Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday, Broomhead-Fox pleaded guilty to one count of grievous bodily harm and is due to be sentenced on October 26. He has been remanded in custody until then

On 21 June, at around 9.30pm, the victim met with a friend in The Feathers pub. Broomhead-Fox was sitting at a nearby table.
At one point, Broomhead-Fox confronted the victim’s friend, and the victim stood between the pair to try and stop the situation from escalating.
Broomhead-Fox was holding a pint of beer at the time, but picked up an empty glass and swung it at the victim, striking him in the neck and causing the glass to break.
The broken glass caused a deep wound which was millimetres away from the main artery. The victim lost consciousness, but a retired paratrooper who was also a customer in the pub was able to provide first aid and help save the man.
After the incident, police discovered that Broomhead-Fox had left the pub and a taxi driver confirmed that he was covered in blood.
When police located Broomhead-Fox’s vehicle, they found it contained several weapons, including an extendable baton, a metal golf club and a baseball bat.

CCTV footage from inside the pub showed the attacker had been walking around the building with clenched fists and had been punching the air prior to the assault.
Investigating officer Detective Constable James Lacey, of Aylesbury CID, said: “This was a horrific attack which took place in a busy public venue.
“Prior to the attack, Broomhead-Fox is captured on CCTV walking around the pub with clenched fists, punching the air, which clearly shows his level of aggression and violent intentions, immediately prior to this attack.
“Broomhead-Fox is a dangerous and violent offender, and his cowardly actions that night almost resulted in a young man losing his life.
“I am certain that without the response of the member of the public who provided immediate first aid, this could have had a tragic outcome, and I would like to sincerely thank him for his selfless actions.
“I am also expressing my thanks to all of the witnesses who came forward with information, which enabled us to present a strong case to court, meaning Broomhead-Fox had no option other than to enter a guilty plea.
“I am pleased that he has been remanded in custody and can expect a significant sentence as a result of his violent actions.
“Although this was a distressing incident to witness, I would like to reassure our communities that Thames Valley Police take a zero-tolerance approach to violent incidents such as this, especially those involving the use of weapons.
“Such incidents will always be investigated thoroughly and we will place offenders before the courts where they belong.”
