An industrial site in High Wycombe could be torn down for new homes.
Maxika Homes, of Betchworth, has submitted plans to overhaul the site of Harrem House, on Ogilvie Road.
It is understood the site is used by Sidney Cubbage (Heating and Ventilating) Limited, still registered at this address.

Plans outline the ‘demolition of the existing industrial buildings and the proposed redevelopment of the site to provide one three-bed and eight four-bed houses’ – nine in total.
A new vehicle access from Ogilvie Road, 18 parking spaces and 27 bicycle bays are also proposed.

“It is accepted by the council that there is a need to provide new housing in the district,” a planning statement reads.
“The proposed scheme of nine units will make a positive contribution to this housing need.”
Adding: “The houses are carefully designed to ensure there is no overlooking of neighbouring properties.”
The applicant is now awaiting a decision from Bucks Council.
