Thames Valley Police have been patrolling parts of Totteridge this week.

It comes after several thefts of vans in the area as well as thefts from vehicles.

The police have also been handing out advice on the best way for residents to keep their vehicles safe.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "PCSOs have been patrolling parts of Totteridge this week following several thefts of and from vans and have given advice on keeping vehicles safe.

"We hope their presence provides some reassurance to local residents and helps to deter anyone targeting this area."
