Wycombe forward Anis Mehmeti will miss Wanderers’ next three games.
The 20-year-old, who joined the club last season, will not be eligible for the Chairboys’ matches against Oxford United, Charlton Athletic and Manchester City respectively, after he breached the FA Rule of E1.1 which happened in the 3-1 away loss at Sunderland on August 28.

The midfielder’s behaviour in the 30th minute of this game was not seen by the match officials at the time but was caught on camera.

He subsequently admitted that this behaviour constitutes violent conduct but also contested the automatic penalty.

An independent Regulatory Commission dismissed Anis Mehmeti’s claim during a hearing and imposed the standard three-match suspension.
He has so far played seven matches this season.
