An uninsured driver has been ordered to pay nearly £1,500 after he was involved in a crash in a Morrisons car park.
On August 14, 2020, Paul Fitzgerald, 41, was the driver of a Ford Fiesta which failed to stop after an accident which caused damage to another vehicle.

At the time of the crash, which took place in the car park of Morrisons supermarket in Westcroft, Milton Keynes, Fitzgerald was not insured.
Appearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on July 22, Fitzgerald, of Holborn Crescent in Tattenhoe, pleaded guilty to failing to stop after a road accident and driving without third-party insurance.

Fitzgerald avoided a driving ban but was fined £1,120 and ordered to pay a further £222 in costs. His licence was also endorsed with eight points.
