A High Wycombe man has been given a prison sentence after refusing to leave Tesco and abusing a supermarket manager.
Thomas Chapman, 41, of West Wycombe Road, has been given a 14-week jail term suspended for one year after he breached the terms of a criminal behaviour order on multiple occasions.
Appearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on July 14, the prosecutor outlined how Chapman had knowingly breached the order three times over the past few months.

On March 26, Chapman breached the order by refusing to leave the Tesco store in the Eden Centre after being asked to leave by the manager.
Chapman used threatening or abusive language towards the resident of a property in Barnard Crescent, Aylesbury, on February 21, in breach of the criminal behaviour order.
On the same day, Chapman used threatening or abusive language towards the manager of Co-op Food in Harvey Road, Aylesbury, after being asked to leave the shop.

He also failed to surrender to custody at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on May 10.
After pleading guilty to all four charges, Chapman was given a 14-week suspended sentence. He was also ordered to pay £213 costs.
