A man in his twenties remains in hospital after being stabbed in the arms near the Xscape building.
Two people approached a group of males from the car park at Marlborough Gate where the fight broke out yesterday (August 29) at around 9.05pm.
Following the stabbing, the two offenders ran off in the direction of the McDonalds entrance and headed towards the bridge which leads to Fishermead.
Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses following an incident of grievous bodily harm in Milton Keynes.
They are both described by police as being dressed in black tops with the hoods up and had face coverings.
Investigating officer Detective Constable John Swallow based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened yesterday in Milton Keynes.
“If you saw two people dressed in the clothing described around that time making their way towards Fishermead, please get in touch.
“We believe this was an isolated incident but there will be patrols in the area so if you have concerns please feel free to approach an officer.
