An eight-year-old boy was taken to hospital yesterday after he was 'scalded' during Wycombe's encounter with Lincoln City at Adams Park.
Luca, a Chelsea fan, was at his first-ever Chairboys game but was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital 10 minutes into the game when a hot drink was split on him.
Wycombe Wanderers took to social media to let fans know that Luca was okay and invited him to a VIP Adams Park matchday.
The post read: "He came along to his first ever game today but just 10 minutes in, he was scalded by a hot drink accidentally spilt on him, and had to go to Stoke Mandeville for treatment.
"Luca’s okay - but gutted of course to have missed the action!
"Send him your good luck and get well soon messages and we’ll make sure he sees them.
"And of course we’ve invited him back to experience a proper VIP Adams Park matchday sometime!"
#Chairboys fans we need your help!
