A teenager was arrested on suspicion of common assault and assault of an emergency worker in High Wycombe earlier this week.
The boy was arrested on Oxford Road, outside the Sainsbury's supermarket at around 8:45pm on Monday (August 16.)
He has since been released on bail whilst Thames Valley Police's investigation is still ongoing.
There were two police cars on the scene at the time as well as the supermarket's security team.
A spokesman for the police said: "At around 8.45pm on Monday (August 16) Thames Valley Police received reports of a public order incident on Oxford Road, High Wycombe.
"Officers arrived at the scene and arrested a boy in his teens on suspicion of common assault and assault of an emergency worker.
"He has been released on bail and the investigation is ongoing."
