Former Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Cameron Yates has joined Dundalk on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old, who spent three years with the Chairboys between 2018 and 2021, was released by the club this summer and has signed for the Irish side pending international clearance.
He only played three games for Wanderers, which were all in the 2019/20 season in the Football League Trophy, and was an unused substitute once during the campaign.

He also became good friends with Daryl Horgan, who once played for Dundalk.
He said: “Dundalk is a very well-known club in the UK.
“I knew about the club before it was even brought to me and as soon as I got the call, I was very keen to come over.

🗣️ Vinny Perth: “Cameron is someone who has come over and we have had a good look at him. He’s 22, his character fits the DNA of the club and the target for him now is to try and force himself into the first team and become an option for next season.”

“He sang the praises of the club and the people and the staff that are here so that was another positive for me coming over here.”
During his time at Wycombe, he joined Aylesbury United on loan and played three games for the Ducks.
