Drug driving can be costly and puts lives at risk.
Drugged-up drivers are responsible for hundreds of crashes across the UK every year, and they can be as much of a risk to other road users as drink drivers – sometimes even more so.
In spite of the risk, many irresponsible drug users in Bucks have got behind the wheel and put themselves and others in danger.

Those who have been caught have paid the price in a variety of ways – like fines and driving bans. And those who were caught with drugs on them were forced to give them up and charged with drug possession to boot.
See below for a list of drug drivers who were convicted at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court from June 4 to July 5.
Christopher Chetram, 32, of The Crescent, Princes Risborough. Driving over the drug drive limit. On November 23, in the A41010 in Terrick had a proportion of Benzoylecgonine in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £115. Disqualified from driving for one year. Driving over the drug drive limit. On November 23, 2020, in the A41010 in Terrick had a proportion of cocaine in their blood. No separate penalty.
Craig Shoult, 29, of Chalgrove Walk, Aylesbury. Driving over the drug drive limit. On December 5, 2020, in A41 Bicester Road, Aylesbury, had a proportion of Benzoylecgonine in their blood. Fined £400. Costs £152. Disqualified from driving for one year. Possession of a class B drug. Had a quantity of cannabis in Aylesbury on December 5, 2020. Fined £266. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed.
Andrian Frunza, 26, of Coxhill Way, Aylesbury. Driving over the drug drive limit. On November 19, 2020, in Oxford Road, Aylesbury, had a proportion of controlled drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £368. Costs £122. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

Mihai Iliescu, 46, of Belgrave Road, Aylesbury. Possession of a controlled class B drug. In Aylesbury, on December 2, 2020, had a quantity of cannabis. Fined £153. Cannabis forfeited and destroyed. Driving over the drug drive limit. On December 2, 2020, in Fuggle Drive, Aylesbury, had a proportion of cannabis in their blood. Fined £230. Costs £119.
Kenan Roberts, 22, of Gomm Place, High Wycombe. Driving over the drug drive limit. On December 12, 2020, in London Road, High Wycombe, had a proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydroc in their blood. Fined £507. Costs £136. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Jermaine Hay, 41, of Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe. Driving while disqualified in Orchard Road, High Wycombe on December 24, 2020. Fined £120. Using a motor vehicle without third party insurance in Orchard Road, High Wycombe on December 24, 2020. Fined £120. Driving over the drug drive limit. On December 24, 2020, in Orchard Road, High Wycombe, had a proportion of controlled drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for three years.
Adam Clifford, 27, of Eaton Avenue, High Wycombe. Driving over the drug drive limit. On December 20, 2020, in West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe, had a proportion of controlled drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £161. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Khizar Iqbal, 31, of Spearing Road, High Wycombe. Driving over the drug drive limit. On December 29, 2020, on the A40, Stokenchurch, had a quantity of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.
Naveed Kayani, 28, of Fraser Road, High Wycombe. Driving over the drug drive limit. On December 22, 2020, on the A40, High Wycombe, had an amount of benzoylecgonine in their blood. Fined £120. Costs £119. Disqualified from driving for three years.
