A main road through the village of Seer Green has been cordoned off this afternoon, with forensics seen focusing their attention on a car parked on the lane.
School Lane and the Green Meadow park along it has been taped off near the private Seer Mead road and Seer Green CofE School.
There is a police van and a police car inside the cordon. There are no other emergency services within the cordon or on the scene.
A white van with forensic officers has appeared inside the cordon now with white suits and masks being put on.
They have been seen going into a car that is parked at the side of the road. A black sheet is now also being held up by officers.
Traffic trying to pass down School Lane is instead redirected up Stable Lane, Farmers Way, Drovers Way and then Long Grove which eventually joins back up to School Lane.
The road is not expected to reopen for a while yet.
We have asked Thames Valley Police what has happened and will update with more information as we get it.
