The former headquarters of the Buckinghamshire Women's Institute in High Wycombe could be transformed into flats after the building was sold.
Stuart Lodge, on Stuart Road, was for many years the head office of the Buckinghamshire Federation of Women's Institutes but it was put up for sale earlier this year for £525,000.
Chandler Garvey property consultants were marketing it and said they had "unprecedented interest" - with more than 40 viewings in just two days.
Seemingly someone snapped it up quickly, as plans have now be submitted to turn the detached red brick building into studio apartments.
The plans, to turn it into four flats, have been put forward by Chopra Property Group Ltd.
According to the plans, the four residential units would be "high quality" and would "positively contribute to the housing need in Wycombe, as well as utilising an existing building that is currently vacant".
They added: "It would not have an adverse impact on transport or highway networks."
