Three lanes on the M25 have now opened following a crash that happened earlier on today [Friday, August 6].
In the late morning/early afternoon, the accident happened between junctions 16 and 17 within the county, and the emergency services were also in attendance.

In all, lanes 2, 3 and 4 were shut on the M25 clockwise, but they have since reopened.
Highways England have confirmed that ‘there are long residual delays of 60 minutes,’ as well as of around eight miles of congestion’, following the closure due to the crash.
