This week we have delved into our archives to bring you some great photos of Marlow’s High Street in the 1920s and 30s.
The first picture, from the 1930s, shows shops on the east side of the street, looking from opposite the New Court Stables.
The Crown Hotel can also be seen in the background.

This second picture, from the 1920s, looks south from The Chequers Hotel and shows a view of both sides of the street, which is free of motor vehicles.
It is no longer free of cars and other vehicles, but it still does look familiar.
