A tennis club could get a new floodlit court if plans are approved.
Mr Keith Tomkins, of Bourne End, has submitted to Bucks Council a planning application for land at Wooburn Park Lawn Tennis Club, in Wooburn Manor Park.
The application is for the construction of an additional ‘doubles’ tennis court, adjacent to the existing four courts, plans indicate.

The new court would be surrounded by a three-metre-high chain link fence and would be floodlit.
It will be open 8am-10pm most days.
However, it is also an area at risk of flooding, according to a report.

“I am fully supportive of this application,” said Mr Andrew Walker. “I see that the tennis courts are fully utilised and the construction of additional courts can only help with enhancing outdoor activity and the associated health benefits.”
“We have no objection to this application,” a council officer added.
The applicant is now awaiting a decision from Bucks Council.
