Police are appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Gerrards Cross.
At around 5pm, on Thursday (June 29) the girl was walking through the wooded area of Gerrards Cross Common near the A40.
While walking through the woods, she was approached from behind by a man who pulled her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.

The offender is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 11 inches tall and average build.
He was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit top and bottoms with the hood up over his face.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Michael Anderson of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit based at Aylesbury police station said: “This was a terrifying incident for the young victim who left her family home for an evening walk in Gerrards Cross Common.
“Thames Valley Police takes reports of sexual assault very seriously. A thorough investigation is underway and officers have been working to establish the circumstances of this incident since it was reported to us.
“There is an increased police presence in the area and our officers are working to identify the person responsible.
“We are appealing to members of the public who were in the area at the time of the incident to get in contact with us. If you saw or heard anything that could help this investigation, please get in touch.
