A popular park on the Bucks/Ox border will host a brand-new festival for the summer holidays.
The Sparkle Bright Flower Summer Festival will take place at Stonor Park in Henley throughout August, with the family-fun event being based on the children’s playground, Tumblestone Hollow, within the grounds.
Tumblestone Hollow opened earlier this year, but it will have a different look for the summer holidays, as there will be bubbles, buntings and flower-like pillars on show.
Special characters connected to Tumblestone Hollow and the accompanying book, The Legend of Tumblestone Hollow, will entertain and tell stories around the stone circle, with there also being an opportunity for face paint-style decorations and interaction with the characters.

William and Lady Ailsa Stonor, custodians of Stonor Park, said: “The summer holidays are so important for families - it’s great to spend happy times together after the hustle and bustle of the school term.
“The Sparkle Bright Flower Summer Festival of Fun is the perfect opportunity to do that.
“As well as having access to the playground, we wanted families to have an extra special experience that will be a good-value day out and entertain children of all ages."
Ticket prices for adults and children over 105cm are £9.50, with those for children between 92cm and 105cm costing £7.50 and kids below 90cm going free.
