The RSPCA is investigating after one of its vans was damaged by an unknown driver in Beaconsfield.
An air-conditioned animal transport van was damaged at 11am today (Thursday) in Reynolds Road, the charity’s Hillingdon branch said.
It claimed the driver left without leaving any details.
A spokesman said: “After such a difficult year, this is just another devastating blow to the charity.
“They now have both vans off the road (their other van is also being repaired) so this is greatly hindering their essential work in helping local animals in need.
“The cost of repairing this van (which will need a new door and panel) is likely to be substantial.”
The branch is appealing for any witnesses in the area to come forward.
