The faces of five drug dealers to avoid around Bucks

Thanks to the hard work of Thames Valley Police officers, a few more dealers and would-be dealers have been taken off the streets in Buckinghamshire

Below are five offenders who were put behind bars in the last few weeks. You may want to steer well clear if you ever see them out on the streets in the future.

Omar Zaheer

Zaheer has been put behind bars for four-and-a-half years after he was involved in a police chase and caught with quantities of class A drugs.

The 21-year-old, of Bushey Close in High Wycombe, committed his first crime when police stopped him in his car in 2019, where they found a stash of class A drugs and cash.

He committed his second offence in April when he tried to escape from officers in his car. He was detained, searched and officers found class A drugs and cash nearby.

Appearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on July 1, he pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, and as well as receiving a jail term, he was also ordered to pay £2,740 to charity.

Kayne Joseph

This offender, who originally hails from London, was arrested by police on the streets of Aylesbury after they saw him and two other men acting suspiciously in December 2020.

The officers’ suspicions were confirmed when a search of Joseph’s home in Ealing revealed £2,400-worth of cocaine hidden behind his kitchen extractor fan.

Joseph pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday July 9.

When sentencing him, Judge Francis Sheridan said the public is “sick and tired of drug dealers peddling their filth in Aylesbury.”

Lamar Mcpherson

When this 21-year-old was stopped and searched by police in Aylesbury on May 10, officers discovered wraps of cocaine and heroin.

After searching Mcphersons’s address, officers discovered more class A drugs, cannabis, mobile phones and cash. One of the phones contained messages relating to county lines drug activity.

Mcpherson appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on July 8 where he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

He was locked away for three years and four months.

Jojo Belongo

Belongo, who police found attempting to hide in a bedroom, was locked up for three years after he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession of criminal property.

On January 26, police officers followed a woman they suspected of dealing drugs, and when they entered the property, they found 21-year-old Belongo trying to hide in a bedroom.

The pair were both arrested when £1,092 in cash and crack cocaine worth more than £1,200 was discovered in the house.

While Belongo got three years, his accomplice received a 12-month suspended sentence.

Zain Abedin

Abedin, 27, was arrested during a police raid of a property in Chalfont St Peter, and he was swiftly charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and cocaine.

The offender, of Rowliff Road in High Wycombe, was sentenced to two years and ten months after he pleaded guilty to all the charges against him at Amersham Law Courts.

Police conducted the raid after receiving intelligence that the property was being used for drug-related purposes.
