A Bucks man has been convicted after he was caught with a knife in a popular High Wycombe pub.
Oren Hamilton, aged 19, was caught in The Antelope pub, in Church Square, in possession of a pocket knife with a three-inch blade.
Hamilton, of Western Dene in Hazlemere, appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on June 15, where he pleaded guilty to possession of a knife blade.
The court heard how Hamilton had a folding pocket knife while he was in the pub on April 24.
After pleading guilty, magsitrates gave Hamilton a 12-month conditional discharge. He was also ordered to pay costs of £107.
The knife was taken and destroyed by the police.
