A broken branch from a tree which blocked access to a woodland forcing one local to “climb over to get through” has been cleared.
The National Trust has got rid of a large branch blocking the way into Tinker’s Wood, in High Wycombe, after it was reported by someone who struggled to get through.
The fallen branch was reported on Friday (July 16).

“I found the branch…in Tinker’s Wood, in High Wycombe, in the field by the Disraeli monument,” the person said.
“It was difficult to access the woods, I had to climb over to get through.”

They added: “I contacted The National Trust that covers Hughenden, and they are contacting people to move it.”
A National Trust spokesman said: “The National Trust Hughenden estate office received a phone call on Friday about a fallen branch at Tinker’s Wood and the branch was cleared this morning (Monday July 19).”
