AN office block could be transformed into new apartments under fresh plans.
Mr Nigel Freeth, of September Properties, in Woodstock, has submitted to Bucks Council a ‘change of use’ application for 2-4 the High Street, Chalfont St Peter.
A prior notification application outlines the ‘conversion from offices to 14 residential units (apartments)’.
There will be 25 parking spaces.

A similar application for 19 apartments was submitted in 2018. This application for fewer units is “to improve the overall appeal of the proposal to future purchasers”, a document states.

Yet another application in 2019, seeking the demolition of all buildings and the erection of a block of 26 apartments, was eventually withdrawn in March this year.
“We…respectfully request that the council grants prior approval for the change of use, or, determines that prior approval is not required,” a planning statement reads.
Planning officers will now decide what becomes of the application.
