A woman who was involved in the supply of crack cocaine in Bucks has avoided jail.
Catherine Heath, aged 44, of Penn Road in Aylesbury, was sentenced to one year in prison, suspended for two years, at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday.
Heath had pleaded guilty to charges of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, and cannabis possession.
On the day of her sentencing, the court heard how Heath had been caught concerned in the supply of a class A drug - crack cocaine - in Aylesbury on January 26.
On the same day, police officers also found cannabis in Heath’s home.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service, an offender is “concerned” in the supply of drugs if they offer to supply them – even if they are never in possession of the illegal substances.
If Heath breaches her suspended sentence order and commits another offence within the two-year period, she will risk having to serve a one-year jail term.
