A heatwave is set to hit Bucks with temperatures expected to reach 30°C over the weekend.
After a bleak spell the hot weather is set to return according to The Chiltern Weather Alerts with temperatures starting to rise this afternoon (July 14).
We could see temperatures of 24-25°C today as the clouds start to break up moving into the afternoon.

The cloud is expected to return tomorrow (July 15) but it should still feel warm with highs of 22-23°C.
However, it is from Friday when temperatures will really sore and continue to stay high over the weekend.
In their latest update, Chiltern Weather Alerts said: “Friday is where we will see the high pressure really kicking in. It looks like a gorgeous day with clear skies and lots of sunshine.
“Temperatures will rise pretty quickly, highs of 26-27°C.
“Saturday and Sunday both look the same with lots of sunshine and blue skies.
“A few patchy clouds may form at times but nothing to worry about.
“I think we could see temperatures reach 30°C.”

The warm weather is also expected to continue into next week with tempetures continuting to be in the high-20s.
The update continued: “Monday and Tuesday both follow the same theme with the temperatures remaining high, 27-30°C is very possible.
“So a beautiful weekend to come and into next week!
“UV levels and pollen levels remain high.”
