An Aylesbury drug dealer who was caught with a knife has avoided jail.
19-year-old Ryan Morrell, of High Street in Aylesbury, was brought before Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on May 28 where he pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of a bladed article.
The court heard how on April 1 2020, Morrell was caught in Aylesbury with a quantity of cannabis, with the intention to supply it to another person or persons.
He was also caught in an underpass on Oxford Road with a lock knife, without a good reason or authority.
Despite the seriousness of the offences, Morrell was spared jail, and was instead issued with a community order, requiring him to complete 300 hours of unpaid work.
The offender was also ordered to pay £180 costs.
