A school in Gerrards Cross has had to shut its new multi-purpose hall school after noise complaints from neighbours.
One of the conditions to Thorpe House School's planning permission was that a noise management plan was produced.
A council spokesman confirmed that this had not yet been submitted and that they are assisting the school and neighbours in trying to settle the noise issue.

In the plan, the council say the school should specify the intended use, operational hours, days of the week, the frequency of use and the control methods for noisy activities in order to protect the amenities of neighbouring properties.
It is understood by the council that the school has begun working towards a plan including “additional work” that will see it be ready to use in the Autumn Term by the school and the local community.
A spokesman for Thorpe House said: “Our hall has been having some additional work done to it so that it can be fully used by the school and the local community in the Autumn Term.
“We will be looking forward to welcoming local clubs using our facilities and developing those relationships so that Thorpe can be at the heart of the community in Gerrards Cross.”
In the noise management plan submitted school say they do plan to offer the hire of the multi-purpose hall to the community for sporting use such as badminton or futsal.
It would only be available to hire up until 21:00 on potentially two or three evenings a week and the school have said it cannot be hired as a venue for external events such as weddings or party hire.
The plan also says that evening events such as drama productions, parent evenings, public speaking events and singing concerts could be hosted in the new hall but the school does not anticipate there being more than 25 evening events in the academic year.
